Here is the beginnings of this weekends smoke for sale.
Two pork butts and some chuck roast.
About seven hours into the cook and were sitting at 176. Looks like its going to be a few more hours of awake time for old Brooksy.
But isn't it a nice quiet beautiful evening for it?
I don't mind it. At least the drizzling has stopped.
The chucks are off and now resting before pulling.
Pork came off at 4. That was 11 1/2 hours bathing in the smoke. Fell apart taking it out so don't think it will be a problem to pull.
Heading out now to cook the rest of the meat. Got 5 whole chickens and 4 slabs. Hopefully this freaking rain will go away!!
Now the ribs and chickens are on and smoking. Ugh this rain needs to quit!! Cooking at 250Ish hopefully the ribs will be done in time. If not there is always the rest of the food. If nobody stops I'll be eating Q for all next week ;-)
Looking good. Wanna send some over so I can have some breakfast before work? No rain here, looks like in the 90s today. Great day to be outside working on aircraft.
