I used 8 cups water, 1 cup course sea salt, 1/4 cup light brown sugar, 30 or so black peppercorns, 1 tbls. Red pepper flakes, 1 tbls dried onion, 1 tbls garlic, and 3 tbls pickling spice. Still up in the air if I should use bbq sauce or some Terry sauce.
