Sitka Alaska
So I decided to get into smoking in a big way in this little town.  Smoking and doing events for tourist and locals.  To do this i need something bigger then my MES so I went looking around.  I know I wanted to go with a RF design and needed something that moved so I started my search with just those requirements.

Found this trailer that is pretty heavy duty and in really good shape for the area.  To go on this trailer I picked this up as well.

That is going to be the body to my smoker and I plan on using what I believe is a 200lb LP tank as the fire box for her.  I am sure as I go along i will have a lot questions and always appreciate any and all comments and advice.  Thanks

Looks like you have a plan in action, those tanks are looking mighty fine. Get r done and you will have friends you never knew you had knocking on the door.

Do you have someplace indoors to work on it, or do you have to deal with the elements through out the build?

Most of the work can be done inside, it should only be a couple things that I can't do and that shouldn't be too big a problem.

awesome sitka, looking forward to your progress.i wish that i could work on my build every day.its very addictive

sweet........another one to watch, i admire those of you who can create with metal!

I'm jealous, that's going to be a fine smoker project. I have been wanting to work on a big smoker project for a while....I just cant motivate any of my friends to want to do this big of a project. Good Luck and Keep up posted...Shoneyboy

It sure looks like you are off to a good start. So keep us posted on your progress.

Chefrob- I am not so sure about my metal working abilities yet, I'm a helicopter electrician.  I have a few good friends with a lot of skill, a lot of positive attitude, and a lot of free time.  I'm hoping to make something of it.

Shoneyboy, If you ever have interest in a great island in Alaska you are more then welcome to come see the sights, and pick up a wrench
