Big tip of the hat to all. Been using the Weber grill for years, thought it was time to "up my game/" and join the big boys. I tried using the Weber with Smoke n ator attachment for smoking, but just could not keep the temperatures steady. I have the Maverick probe, and it works great.I went with the MASTERBUILT electric smoker...so I could keep temperature steady, so interested in any points about using the Masterbuilt electric. Working on the first project now. Located in the Midwest, looking for some good times here....The PrairieChicken says......HOWDY TO ALL.

Condolences on being in Illinois!

The Peoples Republic of Taxifornia is right up there with you.

It has been years, but I sure would like to wrap my teeth around a nice piece of prairie chicken again!

Good luck and good smoking.

Hey Taxifornia....we're coming right up there with ya here in the worker's paradise state of Illinois. Latest new tax idea is to tax the amount of barbque smoke emitted by our smokers. Each resident will receive a quota on the amount of smoke, one can generate in a 6 month period.
