Thanksgiving at Mother N Laws

    Smoking my first turkey on my Smoke Vault. Brined it last night in Slaughterhouse brine. 14 lb Butterball. Temp rocking along at 325*.

    speights05 how did it turn out? I just purchased a Smoke Vault and plan on smoking a turkey for the first time! Did the 325* get the skin crispy??

    Yes. The skin was nice and crispy. Cook time was 3hr and 45 min for IT. Meet was still juicy. However wings were crisp throughout. Was gonna post pictures but they are on my IPhone and I haven't transferred them yet.
