Good evening, friends
I am longhair75 and a new member. I am new to smoking meat. In fact, I am just getting started. I assembled my smoker last evening and plan to fire it up over the coming weekend.
I am from Omaha, NE. I am no stranger to cooking. My first job was in a family owned Italian restaurant when I was fourteen. Since then I have lats of kitchen time, and I think I grill pretty good burgers, steaks and chicken. It is time to change it up, and I am looking forward to a new challenge. I am really looking forward to leaning a lot here.
AS for me:
I am 61 years old. I make my living as service manager for a fire alarm company. I have a wonderful wife and two adult daughters. I read quite a bit. I enjoy good food, good wine and spending quality time with my wife of 39 years. It will be great getting to know you all.
I am off to read through the threads.
