I have learned a lot from this awesome forum and its members in just a few days time:

1) got a great rub and sauce recipe from Jeff and a quick course on the basics to boot

2) found some spare rib pointers that I hope to use before next week

3) found out who made my old smoker- and what they are called today- original Okla Joe - now Horizon

4) found out how to contact Horizon and have ordered a cover, new upgraded wheels, and handles to do a much needed refurb on my 20 year old beast

5) found out what paints are being used by forum members

All this by using the search bar and just doing a little reading- thanks for making this place an easy - to - use site for us newbies.

And as a newbie myself still... I concur with you Gas... its a great site to learn from.. and the people on here is just an added bonus.... Long live SMF!
