I have been trolling this site for the past few weeks and have been aww struck. This is the most comprehensive forum about smoking meat I have found. It seems everyone on here is quick to respond to questions and just help out in anyway they can. For that I commend y'all. I am in the Copperfield area of Houston, Texas. My smoker of choice is the Brinkman Trailmaster Limited edition. I recieved it as a birthday gift and it has re-born my love for smoking meat. I cant wait to share with everyone the pictures and recipes to come.

here are a few teaser pictures of the beef tenderloin and chicken halves I prepared this week.

You might want to check out Jeff's Free 5 day E-Course, it has great information to use no matter your skill level!

If you didn't read the "Terms of Service" notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums and some guidelines of how to interact within the forums. Off site links are not allowed here at SMF per Jeff. Not that you have done anything wrong....just a little bit of FYI for new members!

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!

Welcome aboard!  This is the best place I know for sharing ideas on smoking, grilling, curing, etc.  There are plenty of friendly, knowledgeable folks who really enjoy helping one another.  When you can't find the answer you're looking for, just ask and someone here will have the answer.  That's some tasty looking chicken and beef!  Nicely done...
