When i click on the link, I get a PhotoBucket msg saying the image has been moved or deleted.

When you're choosing the image from PhotoBucket, are you selcting Direct Link? Don't use Image Code.

I tried the direct link, HTML Code link and IMG Code link and none of them post the picture. I will have to do some more testing tonight when I get off of work to try posting from my photo bucket. I know you can do it.

I click on the "Insert Image" button in the Reply area then click on the button that says "Image URL" then paste the "Direct Link" from Photobucket there then click "OK"

This a little different as you cllick on the "Insert Image" button and that in Photobucket you are using the "Direct Link" code instead of the IMG Code

Okay, if I hit the insert image in the reply I can actually get the photo's directly from my computer file and not photobucket, that will save some time!

Or, if you hit the insert image, then click add url, you can paste in the link from photobucket, but like piney said, use the direct link, and not the IMG link. I like having two ways to do it!

Congrats on your success. That's why I won't upload any NEW images to PhotoBucket, just load from my PC to the forum.

So does that mean the when we upload an image to the forum it will actually store the image on the forums server? The whole point of photobucket was to have pic's stored somewhere that was accessable 24/7 but not eating up server storage space.

I really don't care one way or the other.... just curious.... lol.

Well this is what happens when I try to load the direct link from photobucket into the reply of a post.

I click on Inert Image

Then on Image URL

Then go to my photobucket picture and copy the Direct link

Than paste it into the Image URL under Import URL

Then I get an error saying "Error retreiving file from URL: http:// blah blah.

So why can't I post my direct links?

Yes it will store the image on the server, in your default album, unless you move it to another album, This was done so there would be no need for another image host. This is the way it was designed to function. Good question.
