New to the SMF and sort of new to smoking meats even though I'm 62, retired and now living in Tennessee.

But since I have so much more time I thought it would be a great time to indulge in more of the smokin' side of cooking.

I have a Green Mountain pellet smoker which I've used a dozen times and really love the way it cooks.

So, looking for good ideas, good recipes, and good times.

Carl

Welcome aboard Carl. Pretty much any question you have about smoking foods can be answered here. Just go to the right room (beef, pork, whatever) and post your questions. Someone will be along shortly with advice on how to make you experience a good one.

Hey Carl, Welcome to the site. You'll enjoy every last minute that you are on here and learn alot. I've been smoking for quite a few years, but I am still a greenhorn compared to some of the people here.
