I have a masterbuilt 2 door propane unit. For some reason the temp gauge started sticking yesterday. Anyone know how to fix it or have the same problem?

Buy a maverick et732 from Todd at amazenproducts.com. You won't regret it. Factory therms are notoriously inaccurate. I've had a 732 for almost a couple years and love it. Makes your life a lot easier knowing your meat and smoker temp without leaving your chair.

  3. Get a new gauge and forget about the factory gauge. The maverick is great. Their are other low price ones that will work great for you.

    Happy smoken.

    Any suggestions mule

  5. Walmart sells a cheap wired thermometor. I don't remember the name of it. Check the kitchen or BBQ section of your local stores.

As long as it gives a true reading it will be fine. I have a couple of differant cheapies. don't remember where I got them I also have a maverick.Which is great. It is a remote....Even after I got the maverick i still use the others. I can put them in differant pieces so I cam keep an eye on everything. So It is not money wasted to buy what you can afford. Then upgrade later.

    Happy smoken.
