My name is TC and I live in Oil City, Pa., the birthplace of the Oil Industry. I have been smoking for the past 25 years using countless methods from trash cans to my new love, the Green Mountain Daniel Boone pellet grill.

For the past 18 years I used a Texas made smoker grill with charcoal and wood chunks, it also has a wood fire box in the bottom. I really like the method, lots of beer drinking since you gotta be around to maintain the fire. As I did more and more brisket I found it a good idea to have something like the green mountain so you can let it go all night . It is very versatile . There is not much I haven't smoked over the years. I'm no expert and will steal anyone's idea.

Just a great hobby.
