...I tell yuh whut.

I am a newbie. I recently bought a Grilla pellet smoker. I have smoked a few batches of boneless skinless chicken thighs, a turkey, several batches of hamburgers, a large brisket, a beef roast, and recently a rack of pork ribs and a pork butt, all with varying degrees of success. However, all of them were edible. I give credit for the success I have had to researching the archives on this forum.

The last smoke which was the ribs and the pork butt, turned out incredible. I wrapped the ribs, but left the butt unwrapped for the duration.

I bought 4 pork butts at the store yesterday. I am gonna rub them tonight and smoke them in the morning!

Good morning and welcome to the forum from a pretty nice and not to hot day here in East Texas, and the best site on the web.

Lots of great people with tons of information on just about everything.

Thanks guys,

I feel like I already know a lot of you, just by reading your posts.

It is nice here in Arkansas today too. It is a nice reprieve from the hear we have had in recent weeks.

Thanks Joe,

I have always ascribed to the M.O. of jumping in over my head and hoping to learn something along the way.
