Hi there!
A total newbie is about to join your site! I came here from troublefreepool where I've been daily for almost a year since I build my own pool and also a small outdoor kitchen next to the pool. That's where I found out about this site from.

Here in sweden is it very rare to smoke the food in a smoker. My own outdoor cooking restrict itself to a regular coal grill without a lid, something I have used as long as I can remember. But a few years ago did we upgrade our gear to a Weber with a lid and that was like a revolution

to our cooking. But since I've lurked the tfp's grill board did I found out about green eggs and other stuff so that is the plan to be able equip the outdoor kitchen with something like that. So I will spend the winter here to read up as much as I can.

looking forward to get to know all the grill experts in here

I'm just finding my way through the boards and are baffled over how much knowledge there are in here. Users who has thousands of post's!!..Right away I fel in love with this place. What can be better than dedicated people with great knowledge in whatever subject it may be...

Beer B-Q I will sign up for Jeffs 5 day course thanks for letting me know:-).
Today I have looked little on different types of smokers. I guess that will be the big challenge for me since I have to import whatever i choose from the US. So I have to make the right decision right away to keep the cost's down. But I have the winter on me to decide what gear that willl suit me best for our purpose. Talking from the top of my head I have thought to have a wood smoker and a gas grill. I have a woodheater to our house so I have wood, or maybe those wood chops won't do?

I haven't searched the boards just yet but are there a section where people log their experience in a separate thread's which they update continusly?

I will spend unhealthy amount of time in here, I can already here my wife complaining
