I am tweaking my two Big Chief smokers to handle A-Maze-N tube smokers. First, the overall length of the 12" tube was over 1" too long, so I removed one of the tube's caps and cut the tube to the best length for these smokers. Next, I didn't want the tube smoker to roll around at the bottom of the smoker so I welded up a couple cradles made out of 1/8" steel rod. Since the following pics, I have introduced a vertical heat barrier plate that seperates the heating element from the smoke tube. Think this helped, big time!
