I'm new to the forum but have been getting Jeff's emails for a couple years now. I have a Brinkman vertical with offset firebox. I like Charcoal with huge chunks of Hickory or Mesquite for most of my pork experiments. I've tried Apple wood chunks on some chickens and a turkey. Love to smoke just about anything that was once alive. I think all of Gods creatures have a place ................ on my plate next to the mashed potatoes and gravy

I'm looking for tips on smoking a whole hog. I have a thread called "Smoking the Whole Hog" on the Pork forum. Any help, links, tips, tricks would be greatly appreciated. I need to smoke some flavor into those piggies.

Welcome to SMF, it's nice to have you join us here in the Forums. Jeffs' Newsletters is just the tip of the iceberg about smoking. As you found out, this site is just full of great information and folks that will gladly share what they know.

Enjoy!!
