Hiyall.
well, I have been trolling around on this site for a cpl of months and really like the community that has come together at the site.
Well, a bit about about my self.
I'm a 42 yo super noob to meat smoking (but love the food!!). I live just north of denver in Colorado and just bought my first smoker.
The smoker is a Charbroiler w/ the fire box mounted on the right side (charcoal burner). About the only thing i've done so far is try to season the cast iron grates.
Well, i look forward to chatin with yall and i'm happy to be here.

Hey another one from Colorado

Welcome aboard. One thing to remember as you start this, you are at altitude so things take a little longer sometimes (time and temps).

If I can help, let me know and I'll do what I can.

Thxs for the advice everyone. I'm sure I'll be buggin everyone before i become adept at this. I'm sure having yall's advice the learning curve will be short.
thxs again 8)

p.s. i'll post some pics when i get my first brisket done.
