This is my first try with the pics of Sundays Ribs cookout. Hope it works.. First time with the SnP with Ribs and they were pretty good. Ribs and Dutchs Wicked Baked beans. What a feast..

Thanks Cowgirl, I thought I did ok for the first try with the smoker. Just want to get to where the ribs are fall off the bone tender. Only had one slab that was that way out of the 3. But it was a good start..

Looking good Mike. I also did my first smoke this past weekend. I think I'm gonna be addicted. Good luck on your next smoke!

Looking good. Did you wrap with any liquid?

Have you tried the 3-2-1 method for fall of the bone?

I used the 3-2-1 method and sprayed them down with apple juice/apple cider vinegar combo. My SnP tends to want to stay around 200 deg even after the mods I did. I need to figure out how to keep the temps up in the 225 range and I think that may help. All and all I was please for the first attempt.

Mike

Yeah, up the temps if you can. 200 or so is getting close to just dehydrating more than cooking which won't help your quest for "fall off the bone"

Temps up or not, for more fall off the bone, up the "2" time......it is the time in the foil that will get them to that stage if that is what you are after..........and shorten the "1" time, they firm back up a bit then.

Good luck,

Wayside, how bad was Manhattan hit from that storm? Im a KSU grad. Class of 85. Hope nothing of yours got damaged.
