Smoked 7.lbs of feather bones on the electric Brinkman smoker and smoked 3.lbs on the grill today using indirect heat. Finished them off in a roaster. Used Ted's magic rub, friend of mine makes good rub, used hickory and apple wood for a test run.[IMG]

Congrats, it's not taking very long to get into the TBS. It's all good my friend.

Richoso1, I have been trying to really get into smoking and after this weekend with the ABT's and the featherbones, which I have done for about two years now, I really have the itch to try some other things. I have some spare ribs waiting to be done up along with my first pork butt and many more ABT's!

Featherbones are one of my favorites! Just picked up some from Farmland...$0.95/lb.

That's what these were, I don't believe I have gotten a bad box of featherbones, knock on wood. Where in Omaha are you from?
