Hey Guys. I have been researching the different stuffers to see which one I am going to buy. I discovered this one:

STX "SAUSAGE MASTER" 5 LITER (11 LB) 2 SPEED HIGH TORQUE SAUSAGE STUFFER

    Any input about it?

    Thanks,

I saw the same stuffer on Amazon a month or two ago on sale and looked into them. I couldn't find any information as far as replacement parts or even parts diagram. I did find out that the STX International products are sold The Mercatile Station 2. At the time when I was looking into them, sausage stuffers were not even listed on TMS2's website so I tried calling them. After three days of calling off and on and only getting an answering machine I gave up.

Hopefully someone else knows more about this brand as it appears to be a good stuffer. I just decided to stear clear due to the obvious lack of customer service.

  3. I saw them too, but also really couldn't get any info on them

  4. I've had one of their grinders since 2012. It works well for my infrequent use. In October of 2013, the grinder stopped working. I disassembled the gear box and found that the gears were not making contact. It was probably due to my overtightening the collar and making the knife turn too hard against the plate. Customer support was very quick in responding to email sent to [email protected] to arrange an RMA for diagnostics and repair. They have low overhead, but good service and product in my experience. I'd try emailing with questions, as their online marketing might not be caught up for a newer product. Let us know what you find out.

The high torque is a lie. Most stuffers are made the same in their style of stuffers. When you move to the fast speed your torque is reduced. also the unit should not be stuffing on that setting. Stuffing should always be done on the low speed......It probably works fine but you wont be able to get parts

    here's some reading for ya

Awesome piece of equipment. After researching a lot of different stuffers I decided to go for this one, and I am very happy about my decision. I already stuffed about 75 pounds of meat and it worked like a charm. A lot of people complaint about the elbow at the bottom that holds meat in, and yes it does. However, I prepared the meat in the stove right the way and was enjoying a sausage pattie in no time..
The stuffer is all Stainless, and very easy to clean. The 2 speed gear set up is great for quick reload of meat. Tow speed gear works great for stuffing I didn't even use a clamp, but to clamp it will help.
So as a conclusion there are no regrets from my side, I recommend this one to anyone.
