Was at the local Fred Meyer store and went over by the seasonal department to see if they had any cooking pellets on closeout. Couldn't find any pellets at all but what I did find was  Treager PTG (Portable grill) with the price sticker that said $299.00. Just below that was a clearance label that said $223.00 Right next to it was a sign saying "50% off lowest marked price on all clearance items". Ended up getting it for $113.00 already put together and complete. It should work pretty good for camping.

That's what I thought.

Turns out the grease pail and two rubber caps on the front legs are missing.

I called Traeger and they are sending them out no charge as a warranty item.

Pretty good customer service.

I used it last night to make part of the dinner. We had friends over so I cooked 3-2-1 Ribs on the Lil'Tex (Best I ever made) and chicken breasts and thighs on the PTG. The things worked extremely well but I had loaded it up with so much chicken there wasn't a bit of open grill. That made clean up somewhat of a chore. I did the chicken on 375 and there was grease everywhere from splattering. That was my bad I think. Had I cooked it on 325 or 350 and not quite so full it would have been fantastic. As it was, I am still pretty satisfied with it.

I cleaned it all up and put it away in the camper for the next trip out.

Great score!  I've had some good food come out of the PTG.  I'll be looking to upgrade the 3 setting control to a PID solution very soon.  Don't forget to post some q-view.

My cousin bought one and brought it to camp. Wanted to know where he could find power. We dry camp and don't allow generators. The Treager sat on the hood of his truck for the weekend while the MINI-WSM chugged TBS!!!
