It's a funny thing.  I thrive on stress when it comes to my professional life but when it comes to my personal life it shuts me down.  I'm unbelievably stressed right now, in my personal life, and it has me in a funk.  It is odd that I love if in one instance but can't deal with it in another.

That's all.  I'm just hoping that, for some reason, this helps me cope.  If not it isn't a huge deal because, one way or another, this stress will be gone on Friday (when my renters move in).

Sounds to me, you need some ABT's and Smoked Mac and Cheese for starters. Sound Good ?????

Just my thoughts. Dave your smokin' friend.

Dave, you are so right but I won't have any time until Friday at least. It may actually be next Monday since Saturday I will be at a Brewfest and Sunday is the annual Father's Day fishing tournament between myself, my father, and my brother.

The stress is all brought on myself.  I am rushing to get a house ready for new renters and I failed to allocate enough time to get everything done.  I had plenty of time but I kept putting it off.  This is my first time renting out my house so I learned a lesson and will never give myself this little of time again.  My parents are in the same boat for one of their rentals and had to take off tomorrow to even have a chance of getting stuff done.

Get off the dang interwebz and get working!!!!!

    Have a great day!!!

  Craig

Good luck getting it all done and getting the stress relief you need. I know all about too much to do and not enough time to do it

Yeah yeah yeah, Craig, I know.  I had to take time off to get my new house somewhat in order.  Right now all of my clothes are in trash bags (my moving box of choice) in my kitchen and my counters are covered in other boxes.  It took me about an hour to even find soap and toothpaste this morning.  That is a big part of my stress too.  I work in this mess (I work from home) then go to my rental house to get it ready.  Then I come back to this mess and try to relax for an hour or two before going to bed.

To make matters worse my dog (a JRT) is extremely distraught and isn't comfortable in the new house.  It's only been since Sunday night (and I know it takes time) but it stresses me out knowing that he is stressed.  Add to that my fiancee is away this week and you have my current life situation.

Piney, thanks!

I seem to remember stress.  As I recall, it worked for me sometimes and worked against me many others.

Now my stress is to remember what day the garbage has to go out.

Life is good.

Enjoy your stress.

Good luck and good smoking.

Renters moved in so the stress is over.  I must say, the house looks better than it ever did while I was living there.  Now I just have to plan a smoke for Monday!!!!  I think I'll smoke my first meatloaf.

Glad you got them in ok. Smoked meatloaf is some good stuff have a great smoke

sounds like a coupla cold beers are in order and since you're not smoking till Monday order yourself up your favorite pizza with all the stuff on it the fiancee doesn't eat and have at it with a manly movie full of shooting & blowing shit up & just zone out....that's what I would do....have a great evening

Glad you're coming out of it !!!

Now fill the Eastbound Pennsy' Air with some great smells for me, will you????

Is that like,"You know when the weekend is here 'cause the school bus didn't go by"

How did you know?  We have a 3:00 bus and a 4:00 bus.  We always try to be out there to make sure the kidlets make it home without tearing each other up.  LOL

Good luck and good smoking.

Good luck! Give yourself a time out. Have a few beers & smoke something. Deal with your problems tomorrow, they'll still be there.
