the wife bought some country style ribs yesterday, kinda fussed a little told her she should have just bought a butt and i could have made twice as many for the money. i got off work a little early but only had a couple of hours before she came home,so i too a turkey roaster pan and rigged up a stove top smoker, rubbed them with our rib rub smoked on the stove for about 30 min then into the oven for 2 hours by the time she got home they were ready, so i moved them out to the gas grill to crisp them up with some finishing sauce and i'm here to tell you they were fine.just an idea if you don't have a whole lot of time and want some q,this worked real good.

good job. I've managed some nice Q on the gasser when my time has been short. You gotta do, what you gotta do.

I have a Cameron's stove top, and have had some success with it. Makes some things pretty quickly and tasty. Good for pork tenderloin, chicken, little stuff.

i looked at some of those on e-bay, but i needed something right then, so i had to improvise and was really pleased,oh i'm sure this little experiment will continue!!!and what's better than experimenting with something that can be so tasty too!!!

I only use the stovetop smoker to do chicken breasts and fish. Never thought of doing ribs. Might have to give that a try!

I think we've all been there at one time or another. Nothing wrong with being creative when it gets the job done.

i was in such a hurry between trying to rig it all up and cutting grass i forgot the q-view!!!!!
