I have been a long-time user of the Weber kettle for charcoaling meats.  I am happy with it and not dissatisfied but ... recently saw a STOK charcoal grill and was intrigued.

Does anyone have a perspective on the pro's vs. con's on the STOK grills versus Weber kettles?

Would be interested in input.  Feel free to post here or message me offline at [email protected]

Thanks!

Welcome to the SMF!

I think a Weber Kettle is really hard to beat, especially if you're used to using it.  Weber has been around forever and has a lot of accessories available.  I don't think that STOK will get you anything you don't already have in you Weber.

Somebody posted about the Stok a while back.  Then I didn't see any more about it.  They sure are a strange looking contraption.  I am a Weber user and could never imagine being without one.  If you decide to try the Stok, please come back and give us some input!

Good luck and good smoking.
