Still Learning

Hi, I'm Greg.

I live in Western Oklahoma and started smoking couple of years.  I still love learning new tips, tricks and recipe's.

I recently purchased a Cold Smoker Box f/My Traeger Texas Elite, and am excited about learning more.

Hey, Greg.....still learning after two years? lol......I don't believe anyone who continues to smoke meat ever stops learning.....we are all in the same boat....."still learning".

How do you like your Traeger? I was born and raised in Enid, but now in East Texas, near Tyler. Where in west Oklahoma are you?

Have you tried the smoked bacon bacon wrapped jalapenos stuffed with cream cheese?

Hi Bulletbob.

I live in Weatherford, Its really a small world I have a lot of family around Tyler area mostly Cass County.  I also have family in Enid, My Uncle was a coach in Waukomis, and still lives in Enid.

I love my Traeger so much that I started selling them in my Oilfield supply Store, and to advertise I sometimes cook for customers and employees, usually just hamburgers, Brats and Rig Potatoes

I Love the Stuffed Jalapenos, Also love Stuffed Pork loin.  My Brother-in-law owns a BBQ Restaurant in Clinton and taught me the stuffed Pork loin.

Ashamed to say but I don't like asking him how to smoke meat so I research and experiment and then invite family over if it turns out great.
