I just picked up two of Steven Raichlen's books. I got "How to grill" and "The Barbecue! Bible". I picked them up a Sam's club today for $13.74 each. Looks like lots of good recipes in them. I just thought I would pass this on to anyone looking at picking them up and want to save a few bucks....................

I have the "How to grill" book also. Worth its' weight in gold. I always use a thermometer when I cook. But if you follow his directions to the letter, the times he lists in the recipes are spot on.

I have both of those and the sauces, marinades and rubs, and that man definatly knows what he's talking about

i watch his shows, BBQ university and Primal Grill, and i always have a towel handy for the slobber

I have his supposed latest & greatest "BBQ USA" which has xlnt recipes and deals a lot with smoking. Great reading!

I have his book on Sauces, Rubs, and Marinades. I have used many of his recipes all with excellent results. The thing I like is that if you are after something that's a little "out there" this is the place to look for it.

I myself have Ribs, ribs, outrageous ribs, and just bought BBQ usa on amazon, thanks kookie

. The truth be told, SMF and steven's books are my secret ingredients in everything!!!!

If you want to try what I think is the best recipe in "Barbecue Bible" Kookie, try the Capetown Lamb, and pop it in the smoker instead of the grill......awesome!

We have a couple real nice used book stores in town.

I think I paid about $7 for his BBQ Bible. It's a good book. The quick paragraphs and chapters make for a nice "bathroom book."
