I smoked some ribs a few weeks ago for the first time and they were ok but not great. I didn't leave them on long enough. I figured I'd give it another shot. I soaked 2 racks in unfiltered pure apple juice and cinnamon for a day. Then I covered them with a generous amount of Butt Rub. Put them on the smoker for 3 hours at 225. I coated the inside of my of my foil with honey, brown sugar, and a little cinnamon before wrapping them and returning them to the smoker. I left them on for 2 hours (1 hour longer than my previous attempt). Unwrapped them and let them smoke for another hour. They turned out petty good this time. It probably wouldn't have hurt to leave them foiled for a little while longer. They were tasty nonetheless.
