I have A. C. Legg Snack Stick seasoning and I want it to be a little bit more spicy.  Should I put some red pepper in it or something else? How much for a 5 pound batch?

You can add any additional spices you want but don't add any extra cure. I use a different brand but there all basically the same. As far as how much thats only something you can decide depending on your taste.

Ditto ^^^

You might start with adding 1 tsp ground black pepeprcorn, 1/2 tsp cayenne and 1/8 tsp cinnamon per pound...if you like the background heat alot, double the amounts of cayenne, and add a tsp crushed red pepper to go with it. The cinnamon will help to offset the slightly bitter aftertaste of the cayenne, if you're wondering what it's for. I like to use cinnamon   at about 10% of the volume of cayenne just for that purpose...it adds a hint of spicy sweetness.
