Spicy Maple Pork Sausage Stuffed Pork Belly.....

  1. Happy Sunday everyone!

    Today I made my first pork belly. I stuffed my pork belly with Spicy Maple Pork Sausage.  It was to die for delish. Oh my word didn't know how buttery rich and succulent pork belly was.  I don't have any heart paddles around my house - so I better share this dish with ALL of my neighbors lol...Didn't take too many pics because this was an experiment recipe.  I will make this "not-so-friendly-on-the-heart" recipe again.........but not too soon! Have a great week everyone.  Josie





    Had to make myself a breakfast sandwich for dinner......it was off the charts good!!!!!

    We're doin pretty good, just kinda busy with work, the regular summer stuff & finishing up our yard renovation (what was we thinkin) ? :biggrin: Hope things are going well for you !

  7. haha redheelerdog! how can you be hungry right after eating lol.  and you are right - it was out-of-bounds. can't eat too much of this dish if I want my heart to keep beating lol.

    Not much to say after seeing that other than WOW!

    I guess the next belly I get for bacon will have to have a piece taken off for stuffing.

  11. you're welcome Al.  I cut off the end pieces of my pork loin, stuffed a piece in each end of my pork belly roll.  If you don't do this, when the pork belly starts to cook it will try to push that sausage out. I saw one of your post with your new Lang smoker.  I'm thinking about purchasing one of those smokers also.  How do you like yours? Thanks for the points!

    First, this looks marvelous!

    Second, fat doesn't hurt you heart if you eat it standing up. Just saying.

  13. haha Disco[​IMG]  I didn't know that if you eat pork belly while standing up it won't hurt your heart....I learn something new everyday lol. Thanks my foodie friend.
