I'm Mark from Dover, PA and have been smoking for about 5 years. I started on a Luhr.Jensen "Mini Chief" electric smoker. This little smoker was very inexpensive and I thought a good start for someone who was just experimenting  to see if they liked smoking.  I was able to smoke  a large variety of items with it: salmon, beef jerky, pork shoulder, ribs, nuts, cheeses, salt and pepper. It has served me well and will for many years to come.

This Christmas my wife got me a 2 cu ft. Masterbuilt electric smoker model 20070411., and we have been having a lot of fun with it. Yesterday I smoked a pork shoulder for pulling and a beef tenderloin for the neighbor.   The neighbors were very happy with their loin and we will be eating the pulled pork today B4 for supper.  We've also started smoking our steaks with it and love the flavors.

I really want to try smoked chicken wing's next!

Hi Mark.

I just joined today also and wanted to thank you for your post. I look forward to seeing the results of your wings and possibly picking up some tips. I am totally out of my element in a kitchen. My wife relly shines in that department.

Smoking and patiently tending the smoker and smelling the aromas while outdoors really is enjoyable to me.

Please feel free to correspond.
