There we , as you can see I didn't trim at all, is that bad? My fire is about 225 and holding so im going to put them on.
It isn't bad if doesn't taste bad! If you were in a competition then you'd want to trim them. But if you are cooking at home, then do what you like, because at the end of it all your the one enjoying the food! Looking good, good luck!
Here is my smoker.
I threw on some smoked sausage to double smoke it and plump it up for an early snack.
That looks awesome so far on a beautiful sunny day. I have left mine untrimmed until they are done and then cut them to my liking. For me it's just easier! -Rich
Yep, looks like a N. C. backyard to me. Look at all those pine needles.
Ok so this is where im at, no foiling , spritzing with pineapple juice, I will let you know how it tastes.
