Found a good deal at out local Wally world on some farmland spare ribs. 1.52 a pound. And there were 2 racks in the pack. should have bought more of those. Anyway, trimmed them up St. Louis style and rubbed them with a light mustard rub. Lightly dusted them with some rub and packed em with brown sugar. I let that set on them for about 30 min while I got the fire going. That made a nice looking glaze on them. Sprayed them every hour for 3 hrs with a mix of apple juice and the leftover juice from a jar a jalapeno slices (That stuff was great!!). After 3 hours i foiled them in HD foil with more of the apple jalapeno mix for 1 hour.

Pulled them out of foil sauced them and back on the grates for another 30 min.

Then glazed them with honey and let em cook for another 15 to 20 min and pulled them off. Here is the final result.

My wife said they were the best ribs I had ever made. I would have to agree. They turned out very good. Just the right amount of pull and very tender and juicy.

Hope you all enjoy them as much as i did.  Well..... not sure if that is possible or not since I did get to eat them.

I hope everyone had a great memorial day remebering all those that have and are currently serving to protect our county.

                                                                     - Thank You all -

Yes those are some fine looking ribs you have there Boone. Now I can tell you that you enjoyed them better then I did but only cause you ate them and they just made me hungry too. But you did a fabulous job on them too.

Thank guys!!

3-1-1 actually.  as soon as I took them out of the foil I sauced them. then 30 min later I coated with honey and let that cook for another 15 to 20 min.  Does that make sense??
