Spareribs & Potatoes

  1. Keeping it simple with some McCormick's sweet & smoky rub I found at WalMart, plus a little extra.  Applied rub around 8 this morning, just put them in the smoker now. 

    Might add the potatoes in an hour or two.

  3. Thanks! They looked even better when I pulled them after a bit over 2 hours.  Internal probed at 160. 




    Used brown sugar, butter, honey, some rub, and a bit of apple juice in the foil.  Wrapped and in for an hour or so.

  5. Woo! Think I'm getting closer to perfecting my sparerib methods after this one haha! Pulled just under the hour mark, on the 2-1-1 method.  Decided I really liked the color & my tongs were already tearing through them pretty easily.  Literally cut them up with a plastic knife I was using on the potatoes.  Can't get much better than that!

    Ribs & potatoes...now thats a perfect meal in my opinion! Nice work Gavin!
