Decided on some ribs tonite. Actually I went cajun again. I just can't stay way from that Cajun Rub.
Looks like it worked for you.
Time for me to do some spares again, those looked great!!!
They Look Great...
Any Spares you have you can send them this way...
Those rips look very nice and quite yummy too. Did you sear them or did smoke them at a high heat. Now for that cajun rub your talking about whats the name if I may ask. It really nice to see there is actually someone else that doesn't trimm their ribs. You did fine job with them too.
Man that looks better than the French Fries and little smokies we had....Like to check out that Cajun rub of yours...
Nice! Now I want some ribs, lol. Those look really good.
Here's the cajun rub I have. I think I got it off of here at some point, not sure. I've been trying to keep track of where and who I get these recipes from to give them the credit but this one slid by somehow.
No I didn't sear them. I just put the rub on a couple of hours before sticking them in the smoker at 225.
Cajun Rub (really good on smoked burgers too)
2 tablespoons paprika
2 teaspoons salt
2 teaspoons onion powder
2 teaspoons garlic powder
2 teaspoons cayenne
1 1/2 teaspoons ground white pepper
1/2 teaspoon ground black pepper
1 teaspoon dry thyme leaves
1 teaspoon oregano leaves
1. In a jar with a tight sealing lid, shake together all the ingredients. Store in jar.
Can be used on pork chops, small roast or tenderloin. Makes about 1/2 cup.
Perfect looking ribs there.Good job.
Nice looking ribs!
The untrimmed ribs look very nice. Seems everyone does St Loius, I like the tips and all for the long rib. Thanks for the rub break down. Very nice looking dinner.
Your ribs look awesome! I'll have to try that rub. Thanks for posting it.
Actually the only reason they are not trimmed is because I don't know how. Can you point me to a link so I can see how to trim them? I'm just curious.
Thanx for all the comments.
Here is a great link for trimming those spares. By the way, those look fantastic.
