Hello all!
I'm a new member to this forum, and I want to tell you a little about myself and why I joined MSF.
My name is Neal D., I live in New Jersey, USA.
My current interest is cold smoking. I'm using a Big Kahuna smoke Generator in a brick and wood scratch built permanent structure smoker. I'm relatively new to the smoking scene. I've gained most of my knowledge through my brother who actually built/owns the smoker I'm currently using, and the Internet, of course is a wealth of knowledge too. ;-)
I've bought an old commercial quad door refridgerator which I'm in the process of converting into a cold smoker. This is a joint project between me and a friend of mine. The "new" smoker has about 90 cubic feet of smoking area. This is plenty of room to smoke spices and foodstuff for retail sale, which we currently do. Our current borrowed smoker is too small, but our new acquisition should fit the bill for larger and more profitable sessions.
Thanks in advance for all of your help and thanks to the MSF staff for setting up and running this most helpful resource.
Thanks All!
Neal D.
