  1. Greetings-I am a BBQ enthusiast interested in expanding my horizons in smoking meats. I hail from the Bay Area in Northern California an hour north of San Francisco. I have been grilling for over 20 years and I am always learning new things. My wife recently purchased for me a Smoke Hollow 4 n' 1 and, I am in the process of correcting the signature flaws that are addressed in the forums (High Temp JB Weld on the seams, Nomex gasket, paint job, etc.). I live in a moderate temperature, Mediterranean-like climate and plan to use this system through-out the year. Thanks for the read!

    Welcome to SMF!

Smoker modifications are a big part of the forum. I know the feeling of bolting something together and thinking (this is the way they built this?) and wondering why food doesn't turn out the way you want. This community shares smoker mods, recipes, new gadgets and much more. It is what really makes SMF the best forum along with the people. Don't be afraid to post questions about anything. Many a supper has been saved when questions get asked during a smoke.

[IMG]to SMF!  We are so glad you joined us!

If you didn't read the "Terms of Service" notes.....please do.  There are a few things that everyone should know about those pesky little rules before plunging into the forums and some guidelines of how to interact within the forums. Off site links are not allowed here at SMF per Jeff. Not that you have done anything wrong....just a little bit of FYI for new members!

If you need any help roaming around the forums....just holler!  Happy to help out!
