Hi everyone!
I have been grilling for years and last year started getting into smoking... what a totally different subject that turned out to be :) I have been getting Jeff's newsletter for a year or so, bought his rub and bbq sauce recipe, and have been successfully experimenting around with brisket, pork butt and at Jeff's suggestion, Pork Tenderloin (which is invariably a huge hit at every gathering I've make it for).

I have a good ol' Brinkman vertical style smoker, and a few months ago I went out and purchased the same thing in an electric version. I found that regulating an even temp was difficult enough with the charcoal, but the electric allows me to set the temp, throw in smoking chips every couple hours and I am good to go. I know I might sound heretical, but I am, of course, a newbie and and trying things out still :)

I am looking to take my skills up a few notches this year, so I am looking to refine some of my skills by stealing and trading idea from all of you.
