Just thought I would check in and say hi. Now that the weather is nice I will be posting up as much as I can.

I went out and picked about 40 Morels with some friends. Never done that before and it was good of my bud to show me the ropes. Any way I made a mushroom creme sauce and will be using it on some white tail venison backstrap steaks tonight. Although Not Smoked it will be very good I am sure. QVIEW to follow.

Welcome back stranger!

Was wondering where you had wandered off to.... lol. Morel's are some good eats, people will darn near kill eachother around here if they think you are poaching their morel's.... lol

Welcome back. Cant wait to see dinner.

Glad to see you again! My daughter knows a few morel spots. When my mom was little, they grew in her yard; morels sauteed in butter was one of her childhood food memories. Last summer, Callie brought mom a nice batch of morels - my mom was so tickled! said they tasted just like she remembered. Hope yours are just as enjoyable! Cheers!
