Soon to be Pellet Smoker

Finally talking the wife into letting me pull the trigger in a Pellet Smoker. Live in Livermore Californa and have BBQ'd 3-4 days a week in charcoal and gas my whole life,with no skill at all or ability. I am ashamed to say, my skills are that of someone that just cooks it. So I have a whole world to learn and it seems a pellet grill is going to be the easiest way for me to really explore grilling and smoking in more detail. Will be posting a thread to get recommendations of what to buy....yes, another one......but hopefully mine will be slightly different in theme.

Welcome to the group!  You've cooked 3-4 times a week on charcoal or gas and have no skill or ability????

  You've got mad skills and you don't even know it!  Smoking is a slightly different skill set, but don't sell yourself short.  Glad to have you with us.
