I used my little charcoal cooker last weekend to make some venison fajitas. This time I seasoned some venison backstrap steaks with Rooster Booster.
Rubbed the peppers and onions with oil and seasoned with kosher salt and cracked black pepper....

served with fresh pico, hula girl jalapeno sauce and cold beer...

It was tasty!

Thanks for looking.

I have about 20 packages of back straps in the freezer. I am always looking for something new to try with them. I usually just soak them in soy, teriyaki, and worchester with garlic and onion powder and some pepper then roll in flower and fry. Oh man I love them that way!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Cowgirl,
Is there anything you can't do?! HA!
Alway's enjoy your posts. Love grilled venison. I've got a little grill basket(?) - gadget with a lot of small holes in it, and love to do what you just did... it just never looks that good. Maybe I need some Hula Girl sauce...

Yet another great looking meal you have for us there Jeanie. You really know how to make them and also take the Qview.

Thanks everybody!
lol Tim, it's funny that you should mention troops. I had planned on grilling up this bit of venison for a quick meal for me and some leftovers for the next day. As soon as the food hit the grill people appeared out of nowhere.
Something about me setting up the grill stops traffic. (not that there is much traffic here. )
Same thing happens when I set my little welder out in front of my shop. Friends have to stop to see what I'm up to.
