Hi folks.  I'm a relative novice at smoking and found this site to be the absolute best corner of knowledge on the entire enterweb. 

Just recently bought my first real smoker.  Master Forge double door LP.  Everything is going really well with ribs, fish, tenderloin, until last night when I tried a butt for the first time in it.  I'll post my experience there in the proper forum, and hopefully get it fixed.

Thanks to everyone who takes time here to drop their knowledge.  I've always been a fairly good cook, but with all the wonderful tips and advice on SMF, I know I'll be a successful smoker, as well!

First off Welcome Swine to SMF. you'll like it here for there are alot of really good folks here that would just love to help you with just about anything to do with smoking. Now there are alot of proven recipes for some amazing things here too. So if you need sign up for the E-Course it's free and it will give you the basics of smoking and some good methods to use also. So the next big thing for you to do is go out and get you something to smoke and if you happen to have any questions just post it here and we will be happy to answer them for you.
