Hey there
So I'm new here and I'm in need of some advice as to the cooking times I'm experiencing in my electric smoker. I've got two shoulder's going (9lbs and 7 lbs) and everything I've read says 1 to 1.5 hours of smoke per lb. Started this morning at 7:30, and as of 2:30 I'm already at 180 on my digital thermometer. Are my shoulder's cooking too fast? I'm running at a temp of 225 in the smoker, and was expecting this to take longer that it is. Any advice?
Matt
