Can someone give an approximate time on smoking thick pork chops?
Depends on the weight and how thick is thick?
And the cooking temp. The meat thermometer will give an exact answer for your conditions.
Depends if you are going to reheat, or enjoy cold. I usually do 2.5 hours on a nice heavy cold smoke. That's for standard 3/4 inch chops!
Pork needs to be cooked to an internal temp of 145. When they hit 145, they are done.
