Smoking newbie here

  1. Good morning All. I'm glad i found this forum. I'm from Upstate NY. I love making my own home-brew and have been doing this since 2010. My next new passion is smoking foods. I love all kinds of smoked food ie ribs fish chicken briskets beef jerky. I'm using a Masterbuilt Ele Smoker 30. and have my sights set on the cold smoker attachment.

    You found a great site to get specific answers. There are a lot of MES people on here including myself - I have an MES 40 and a Brinkman offset smoker...After I got the MES, I now only use the Brinkman for higher temp smokes like wings, pork steaks, steaks, etc.

    Welcome to the group!  I've seen lots of info on cold smoking with MES.  The search magnifier is your friend!

    The cold smoker attachment is a great tool for cold or hot smoking.
