Hello to all my fellow BBQ junkies!  Just figured i'd say hello here before i jump into posting on the forums.  From the Chicago area and excited to start the journey into my NEW addiction.  Been passionate about BBQ and cooking for a long time and its finally time to pull the trigger on a unit and get to smoking.   Right now, most of my free time is spent chasing salmon and trout on Lake Michigan. Too much of one thing is never good, so i need to find something else to dive into.   I am a competitive person and fish in tournaments and hope to compete in a few local bbq comps in the next year or two. I know I'm getting WAY ahead of myself, but its important to set goals in anything you are doing and you are passionate about.

Anyways, back to using that search button and keep studying up.  Reading and watching videos about BBQ has got to be the most addictive thing ive ever come across.  What did we do before YouTube?!

Keep on smokin

Cheers!
