I am originally from NY, moved to Richmond VA 21 months ago. I started with a CharGriller Trio about 8 years ago. I have smoked ribs with my own secret sauce that friends and family have said that they are the best the ever tasted. I also have brined my own corned beef and smoked it into pastrami successfully. I tried smoking mozzarella but it melted through the mesh of the screen I had it on, though it did taste great. I left my old CharGriller to a friend in NY, and once we were settled in Richmond I bought a new one.
I have browsed through this forum over the years. This past week my wife came across a deal on QVC, and asked me if I would like it. It was a Masterbuilt smoker, so I said only if it came with the cold smoking attatchment. It arrived yesterday!!!! So I decided it was time to up my knowledge of smoking, so here I am........
