Just want to say hello to everyone.. I was out at camp this weekend visiting with my parents and sat by the fire outside last night and staring at the fire I was thinking about smoking food. I mentioned it to my mother and out of nowhere she told me that "she bought a some kind of grill and smoker for my step father (Brinkmann Pitmaster Deluxe) like 8-9yrs ago and was STILL in the box"....lol. Low and behold, it was right where she told me it would be when I got back to the house today. On the way back out from camp I was looking in the woods and found OLD Apple Trees that I had not noticed in the past which I am excited about.

I will be checking the forums here and hope that people will give me some advice on the offset set up I now have acquired. I am an excellent cook, and have done a little smoking with decent success and hope for better in the near future!!!

Welcome ---- Get that smoker out of the box and fired up. I spend a lot of time in Maine during the summer at a Campground and use an old Charbroil Bullet Smoker that I received new in a box from a relative that had it stored away forever.

Keep on Smokin' in Maine !!!
