Are you familiar with Thurns on Greenlawn?
I was not - but just looked it up on the trusty Google machine and will be checking it out if you recommend.
Oh man, it's old-school German smoked meats, you will love it. They are immediately at the end of the I-71 southbound exit ramp to Greenlawn. Like, turn the steering wheel to the right and don't straighten it and you'll be in their parking lot. They're cash-only and they're only open Thursday - Saturday.
You can get slabs of bacon, including pepper bacon and double-smoked. If you like garlic, try the garlic brats. Ask about smoked hocks, they might not have them out.

Well I went there today to try it out and they were out of almost everything - ended up trying out Weiland's. Like it, but expensive.

Its definitely best to hit them on Thursday or Friday if you can.. after lunch time on Friday is when things start to disappear
Has anyone tried Meat Packers Outlet on 5th Street downtown? Prices look reasonable online.
