Hey everyone,
My name is Kyle. I am a student at Western Washington U in Bellingham, WA. That's close to Canada.
I'm a food freak. I'm fairly decent at Thai and Chinese cuisines, working on Korean (the asian theme is cause it's cheap to cook and fairly healthy), and some Southern cuisine (I visited LSU because they offered me a scholarship. Didn't attend there, but during my visit I was in food heaven). Smoking is next on my list :).
I love experimenting with flavors, moving away from home was awesome in one way because I get to try a lot of different cooking styles without making my poor mom deal with the chaos my cooking causes =P. I've been known to set off a few smoke detectors...
... Which actually brings me to my next question. I live in an apartment complex, and we're allowed to have smokers... but not use them. I guess we have sprinklers on the decks, which is a big bummer. This may seem like a dumb question, cause it is, but how much smoke is released from a smoker? Since I figure that'll be the obvious, what are the opinions on indoor smokers, and what should I look for?
Thanks! I'll be searching the forum for this anyways, but I wanted to start a thread saying Hi before bed, and since you're already reading this... =P
