Was just about to try to smoke chilli con carne and looking for some suggestions...has anyone out there ever tried this and if so I would love some feed back to pros and cons on your experiences.
Sure go for it. We do smoked chili. But typically I smoke the ingredients that go into the chili and not the chili itself. But just like baked beans you can smoke the chili. Put it in a disposable tin pan (don't want to ruin a good pot) get your smoke going and put the pan of chili in the smoker. Keep the smoker low around 200 and smoke for a few hours so until it's done (not sure if your using raw meat or pre cooked.).
